Nila stores everything you enter on your own phone only. The app collects nothing and sends nothing. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising. Nila never connects to the internet.
The developer receives no data from you, not even anonymised. There is nothing on our side to access, correct or delete, because we have nothing.
Nila is for anyone who wants to keep track of their period. There is no age limit: it was built for a teenager, but it works just as well at twenty, thirty or fifty.
Because the app collects nothing and sends nothing, no personal data is processed. That means no consent is needed, not from you and not from a parent or guardian. That holds for every user, whatever their age. What you enter stays yours, on your own phone.
Backup is off by default. Your data then stays out of your phone's backup and does not come along to a new phone.
If you turn Backup on inside the app, your data may be included in your phone's normal backup (iCloud or your computer). That is an Apple service under your Apple account and Apple's privacy policy. Nila itself has no access to it and does not use iCloud. Turning Backup off later stops future backups; an older backup is not changed.
This site uses no cookies and no analytics. Nothing about your visit is recorded. The page also loads nothing from third parties: no fonts from elsewhere, no scripts, no images from other servers. You can check that yourself in your browser.
